In some of our offers, including Ubigi and Service Provider Connect, we have introduced the “delayed activation”.
Unlike classic bundles, bundles with delayed activation will not activate automatically at subscription.
Instead, they will activate only when data traffic is made in a destination included in the bundle’s coverage.
This enables fleet administrators to add plans ahead of time, ensuring no validity days are lost.
For example, a Japan Plan added to a French traveler’s SIM will stay “waiting for 1st use in country” until the traveler connects to a Japanese network.
Plans waiting for activation will be clearly displayed as “waiting” in our interface.
Important note:
If a plan isn’t activated within 6 months of subscription, it will be automatically terminated without refund.
Multiple bundles with the same destination(s) included in their coverage can be stacked:
– Case 1: For a traveler heading to a single destination for 36 days, you can add a 30-day plan followed by a 7-day plan. The second plan activates only after the first expires.
– Case 2: For a traveler visiting the USA for 10 days and Canada for 4 days you can add a USA 7-day plan plus a Canada+USA 7-day plan, with the Canada+USA plan activating only if the USA plan is exhausted or when the traveler reaches Canada.
Note: if an “unlimited” plan is currently being throttled, other plans covering the same location will take priority to enable the end-user to benefit from the full speed.
