IoT Connect Capped Bundles
IoT Connect Capped Bundles
The IoT Capped Bundles pricing model is based on a fixed data limit per SIM card. Each SIM includes a defined data allowance for a monthly or yearly period. They are composed by:
- High-capacity data packages (50GB – 500GB) with price per region
- Pay per Use model within the offer
Once a bundle has expired, has no more allowance, or if the SIM is outside of the geographic area, the SIM will not be able to make any traffic until additional allowance becomes available.
If you cannot wait until a recurring bundle’s renewal, you can always add a Top-Up to keep using data until the anniversary renewal date.
Bundles do not work with calendar days, they renew based on their own anniversary date. This means you get the full allowance for the period even if the bundle is added/activated mid-month, and it will not renew at the end of the month, but on its anniversary date.
Capped Bundle plan subscription
To add a capped bundle, you need to first activate your SIM Card.
Capped bundles are managed in the interface, in the SIM’s details page. After you activate the SIM Card, you need to add a bundle.
In the SIM’s page, go to the “Plans and options” tab:

To add the monthly or yearly bundle, click on “Recurring”. The catalogue of your offer will be displayed:

Click on Subscribe, select Monthly invoice, and then choose the capped bundle that best fits your allowance and coverage needs.
If you need to do a Top-Up, click on “One-Off” and do the same process.
IoT Pricing Model Change
Any SIM change from Capped bundle plans to Pay per Use (PPU) within the “IoT Connect Capped Plans” Service Pack shall take real time effect upon request.

- Once the pricing model is changed, any existing capped bundle will be lost.
- You can make this change by switching the service profile.
If you want to switch a capped bundle rate plan to a PPU rate plan in another Service Pack, you should do it only at the end of the month. If you are in the middle of the month, you need to wait until then to make this change, otherwise, it may cause charging issues.
Switching a SIM between pooled bundles and capped bundles is not supported
